Brent, 8 weeks old, lab mix
Brent and his two siblings (adopted) have been favorites here. They always greet us, play with us and curl up with us in such an affectionate and gentle way. As you can see from the pictures, Brent (and his look-alike siblings) are soft, sleek black puppies as adorable as can be. These babies were rescued from a high-volume Tennessee shelter, a scary and confusing place to be at such a young age. Although they have been through a lot, they are resilient pups who love to play with other dogs and bond extremely well to people. Brent is intelligent and highly trainable. He will likely be of medium-energy (although he will have puppy energy and need exercise) and gentle temperament. If you are looking for a puppy, we think that beautiful Brent is as good as it gets!
With puppies, we are looking for people who are not out of the house for more than 3 hours at a time and not gone for more than 5 hours a day. We find that families with older children are ideal as they best understand the needs of a puppy.
If you are interested in meeting these puppies or another dog at Shultz’s, please click “How to Adopt” above for more information about the “Meet and Greet” and adoption process. We will need an application on file before an appointment is able to be set. Our “Meet and Greets” are by appointment, at a time that will work for you and us. Thank you!
