Carmen - Pending Adoption

Female, 12 week old, Chihuahua mix.  Carmen is one of two sisters (Lolita was already adopted)  who were brought to BarkPlace from another shelter, while they were there to pick up the Pyre puppies.  They were a litter of 4 brought in by two kind women, however, 2 of them were adopted on the spot!  Carmen is so tiny, maybe 3 lbs.  She has been in foster care — and spoiled rotten!  Carmen loves to wrestle and play, she loves her toys and loves to be snuggled and held as much as possible.  She loves other dogs and seems to be fine with cats (there are 5 cats in the foster home).  Being so tiny and fragile we highly recommend no small children under the. age of 8 yrs. so that the children are old enough to understand how to handle such a tiny puppy.

With puppies, we are looking for people who are not out of the house for more than 3 hours at a time and not gone for more than 5 hours a day.  We find that families with older children are ideal as they best understand the needs of a puppy.

If you are interested in meeting these puppies or another dog at Shultz’s, please click “How to Adopt” above for more information about the “Meet and Greet” and adoption processes.  We will need an application on file before an appointment is able to be set.  Our “Meet and Greets” are by appointment, at a time that will work for you and us.  Thank you!
