Zoe - Pending Adoption
1 year old, 44 pounds, border collie
Zoe is a beautiful chocolate Border Collie who comes to us from Tennessee, where she was abandoned and locked up in an apartment when her family moved away. It is heartbreaking to imagine, isn’t it? Animal Control was called and she made her way to our shelter partners at Bark Pace and now up north to SGH. She is a little bit reserved right now, in the shelter environment, but is always looking to make human contact. In spite of her abandonment, Zoe has remained a loving, good-natured dog. She loves belly rubs from people and enjoys her play-time with the other dogs. Leash trained and house broken, Zoe is eager to please. She displays typical Border Collie, with keen scanning and herding abilities and likely enjoy some agility challenges which tap into these inherited needs and skills.
If you are interested in meeting Zoe or another dog at Shultz’s, please click “How to Adopt” above for more information about the “Meet and Greet” and adoption process. We will need an application on file before an appointment is able to be set. Our “Meet and Greets” are by appointment, at a time that will work for you and us. Thank you!
