Louise came into rescue with her daughter (so we think) Thelma. These two scared girls were in foster with one of our affiliates in Tennessee. Reluctant to send them up, we decided their best chance of a loving home would be here in the New England area. These two dogs were, what we assume, kenneled together and used for breeding. They were a bonded pair but due to Thelma’s open spay incision, they needed to be separated. Louise has come into her own and still wants to protect Thelma, but she loves to play with other dogs and is looking for that special home where she can be the best dog she is supposed to be. She would do best in a home with another dog. Both are actually good in the home setting. Louise is roughly 5 years old. Both have been spayed and pretty much housebroken.
